On Sep. 25, the Stoneman Douglas womens varsity volleyball team went up against Western High School. The game began at 4:30 p.m.
The team played four sets, ultimately ending in a loss with a score of 1-3.
“This game was challenging for us. We managed to push through and bring each other up through communication and team work. Even though we lost, we never gave up and played until the end.” sophomore Jillian Carroll.
The next game will be held on Oct. 2, against Monarch High School at 6:00 p.m.
