MSD varsity hockey blasts SW Broward for the second time this season

After overcoming a late rally from Boca in Friday night’s game where many players were absent, MSD looked towards this Monday night matchup with South Broward, hoping to stack another win on top of their 4-3 record.

MSD did more than just win in this matchup.

At Pines Ice Arena, the Stoneman Douglas hockey team displayed their strength in a 7-1  shellacking of SW Broward, similar to their 8-2 win from Nov. 12

A mountain of second period goals allowed MSD to blow right by their opponent and coast to victory, moving to 5-3 on the season.

“This is the exact momentum we need to propel ourselves to victory in games and come away with Ws as we go towards the playoffs,” senior Ethan Bohm (23) said.

MSD’s next game will be on Sunday, Nov. 24 against Boca High, in Lake Worth.
