Halfway Check-In: MSD Hockey cruising through first 10 games

On Monday, Nov. 25, Marjory Stoneman Douglas Varsity Hockey team suited up for their 10th game of the season. This game marked half of the season.

Of the ten games, this would be the third of which played against Southwest Broward and the third game to be played at Pines Ice Arena.

The first two games were successful, most recently on Monday, Nov. 18 with a win and score of 7-1.

This time around was a bit closer, but MSD still reigned victorious by a score of 6-5.

“A close fight like this boosts confidence in our skills and closing ability. We hope to win plenty more games like this throughout the year,” said senior Ethan Bohm (23).

Now sitting with a record of 7 wins and 3 losses, MSD is in a prime position for the playoffs and championship contention.

In the remaining 10 games of the season, MSD will strive to win as many games as possible and build on the achievements made so far.

MSD’s next game will be on Monday, Dec. 2. They will take on Archbishop McCarthy back home at the Ice Den.
