MSD varsity baseball team crushes Monsignor Pace High School

On Thursday, Mar. 5, the Stoneman Douglas varsity baseball team went up against Monsignor Pace High School for their second away game of the season.

The game ended in a final score of 7-1 for the Eagles.

“Our starting pitcher [Sophomore, Derek Rodriguez] threw lights out for five innings and kept us with the momentum all game.” senior Colin Flynn said. “We were up 1-0 until the fifth inning where we blew it open with a few hits and a homerun from Coby Mayo which sealed it.” 

The next game will be an away game against St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday, Mar. 7, at 1 p.m.
