[Brief] Women’s tennis team starts off undefeated

On Feb. 23, the Women’s tennis team went against Cardinal Gibbons and won 4-3. Every player fought their way through and made it out on top. Sophomore Alejandro Martinez was noted for giving it her all at the end of the match.

They had another game the next day, winning 7-0 in a match against Fort Lauderdale.

Coach Amelia Pena is impressed with the skill of her team.

“It’s a team thing, every win count,” Pena said. “Every player did their part.”
