On Sept. 13, the women’s varsity volleyball team took on Taravella High School in a close match.
The Eagles did not play at the nest, but that did not prove to be an issue, winning the game in their last set 25-18.
The team traveled to Tampa the next day to play in a mini tournament.
“I figured we had this game in the bag, but I was a little distracted because we were going to Tampa tomorrow,” libero Julie Piedra (6).

Their next game is on Sept. 17 at home, taking on Western High School.
