[Brief] Varsity football team wins against Northeast High School

On Sept. 28, the men’s varsity football team beat Northeast High School.

The final score of the game was 35-0. Quarterback Ryan Kavanaugh (16) scored three passing touchdowns. Running backs Alex Rodriguez (20) and Vashane Vale (10) also scored one touchdown each.

“This is the best game we have played all around as a team all season and hopefully we can continue this energy we have,” Kavanaugh said.

On defense, linebacker Aramis Warford (3) had multiple tackles and defensive stops for the Eagles which helped the team get the shutout victory.

The Eagles hope to come out strong against Coral Springs High School in the Pig Bowl.
