[Brief] Boys varsity wrestling team places top ten at BCAA Wrestling Championship

On Feb. 1, the boys varsity wrestling team competed at the BCAA Wrestling Championship Tournament at Pompano Beach. There they faced off against 31 Broward County high school teams.

The team placed ninth overall, putting them in a good position going into districts.

“This month has been hard on moral, so now it’s all about staying strong mentally and physically going into district regionals,” captain Steven Erched said.

The team will be having their next match on Feb. 6 at home, where they will face off against Cypress Bay High School.
