[Brief] Women’s varsity lacrosse team overpowers North Broward Preparatory School

On Thursday, Feb. 28 the women’s varsity lacrosse team competed in their third game of the season. The game took place at North Broward Preparatory School.

“Last night the team worked very well together to beat the other team,” midfielder Lauren Figas (12) said. “We were able to defeat our opponents.”

The team won the game with a score of 18 to 6.

“The game went well, we tried different plays and strategies,” defender Gabby Fisher (4) said. “The team did good, a lot of new people got the chance to score goals.”

The next game will take place on Tuesday, March 5 starting at 6 p.m.
