[Brief] Seniors to attend cap and gown assembly

Seniors with sixth period study hall and eighth period senior privilege at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School will attend a cap and gown assembly on Wednesday, Nov. 8 during sixth period, and seniors with second period study hall will attend the assembly on Thursday, Nov. 9, during second period.

The assembly, hosted by Jostens, the cap and gown supplier company for Broward County Public Schools, will explain to seniors how they can order their caps and gowns for graduation by walking them through the process of purchasing the them on the Jostens website. The assembly should take only about 30 minutes out of seniors’ study halls.

Cap and gown orders must be placed by Wednesday, Nov. 22, so the assembly will help seniors through the process so they meet the deadline.
