[Brief] Lady Eagle JV Basketball play in first game of the season

On Tuesday, Nov. 21, the women’s junior varsity basketball team played in their first game against Dillard High School. The score was 45-16 in Dillard’s favor.

Sammy Fisher (4) was the lead scorer for the team, with a total of seven points. The other scorers included Madi Goodman (32) with three points, Chelsea Watts (24) with two points, Kristina Longley (34) with two points and Sephora Bazile (55) with two points.

“I am so happy that the season started today,” Fisher said. “Coming into the team, the girls really welcomed me, and I am excited to continue this experience.”

The team will be playing in their first home game against Cypress Bay High School on Monday, Nov. 27 at 6 p.m..
