[Brief] Women’s varsity basketball team wins against Taravella

On Friday, Dec. 1, the Lady Eagles defeated J.P Taravella High School with a final score of 71-38. Their second away game took place on the courts of Taravella.

Team captain Abbey Hsu (35) acquired the most points for her team, scoring 25 points, followed by Nathalia Balderama (13) with 15 points, Taylor Thompson (2) with 14 points and Asa Dykes (23) with 12 points.

“I feel like this team is already off to a strong start,” Hsu said. “The more we work together and trust each other, the better the team will eventually become.”

The team will be practicing for their next away game on Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. against Coral Springs High School.
