[Brief] Men’s varsity swim and dive team wins first place at meet

On Sept. 5, the men’s varsity swim and dive team had a meet at the Deerfield Beach Aquatic Center, where they played against Monarch High School and Coral Springs Charter School.

The team beat both Coral Springs and Monarch, landing them the first place spot, marking their first win of the season.

“We have a lot of great talent on our team this year and I believe we will have a lot more kids go to regionals and then states,” senior William Burke said.

The team will have their next meet on Sept. 12 at Pembroke Pines Charter High School where they will go up against Pembroke Pines Charter School and Stranahan High School.
