[Brief] MSD’s Indian Student Association announces information for the Cultural Food Fair

For the third year in a row, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School’s Indian Student Association is hosting a Cultural Food Fair on Thursday, Oct. 19. Each year, ISA gathers the different culture-based clubs at MSD to present the food of their cultures to MSD students.

The tickets will be sold at the entrance and will cost $5 for three different samples. In the middle of the courtyard, the clubs will set up each of their stands and serve the long line of students that form each year for this event.

The clubs participating include MSD’s Indian Student Association, Caribbean Student Association, Muslim Student Association, Asian Student Association, Brazilian Student Association, Black Student Union, Jewish Student Union, Spanish Club and French Club. Each group will offer their own variety of cultural dishes, snacks and drinks for MSD students to enjoy and learn about.

Much like past years, food like croissants, fried rice, empanadas and more will be offered to students who decide to purchase a ticket.

Indian Student Association hopes to shine a light on all the different cultures present in MSD students.
