[Brief] Women’s varsity volleyball team beats Coral Glades High School

On Sept. 25 the women’s varsity volleyball team faced Coral Glades High School. They won Tuesday’s away conference match by a score of 3-0.

The first set was won by the Eagles 25-8.

“I think we’ve won every game against Glades since my freshman year,” defensive specialist Julie Piedra (6) said.

The second set was a victory for the Eagles by 25-13. It was a quick game with kills made by both right side and outside hitters.

“It was a stress free game,” Piedra said.

The final set resulted in yet another win for the Eagles 25-14. The team has a home conference match vs. Coral Springs High School on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 4:30 p.m.
