On Oct. 16, 2025, “Culpa Nuestra” which translates to “Our Fault” was released on Amazon Prime as the final movie of a three-part series. The movie features two main characters, Noah Leister, played by Nicole Wallace, and Nick Leister, played by Gabriel Guevara, who become step-siblings after their parents get married. Based on Mercedes Ron’s hit book series, this PG-13 film spirals through emotions of love, drama and comedy.
This viral film sparked the interest of many, including both English and Spanish speakers. “Culpa Nuestra” is a film that connects to the hearts of viewers. Available in multiple languages, this movie can be enjoyed by anyone.
The series begins by introducing Nick, Noah and their families in the first film “Culpa Mia.” Noah is upset she has to move away from her home, her friends and her boyfriend to begin a new life with her step-dad and step-brother.
Her step-dad, William Leister, played by Ivan Sanchez, is a successful businessman who lives a luxury lifestyle on the coast of Spain. As Noah begins to adapt to her new life, she realizes how different she is from Nick, who likes to party, talk to a lot of girls and engage in fist fights.
In “Culpa Mia,” Noah and Nick realize they like each other and deal with the shame of being together as step-siblings.
In “Culpa Tuya,” their parents hated their relationship and did everything in their power to break them up. This worked eventually, with Noah and Nick ultimately splitting apart.
In “Culpa Nuestra,” Noah and Nick see each other again for the first time in four years at their friends’ Jenna’s and Lion’s wedding. This wedding marked the beginning of their future together as all of their feelings came rushing back and they realized they still love each other. However, they were both seeing different people.
Throughout “Culpa Nuestra,” viewers watch as Noah and Nick rekindle their relationship. This movie was filled with drama, comedy and love, leaving viewers heart-warmed as they indulged in the last movie of the three-part series.
The first time Noah and Nick saw each other again at the wedding, their friends Jenna, played by Eva Ruiz, and Lion, played by Victor Varona, employed a variety of tactics to get them to talk, like seating them next to each other at dinner, having them court each other at the wedding ceremony and even forcing them to dance with each other in a slow dance after switching partners.
These tactics, while clever, did not work automatically as after four years, they had separate lives. Nick was moving up the ladder in his father’s law firm, while Noah just graduated college; they even had different partners. In reconciling their changed lives, “Culpa Nuestra” showed how both of their paths ultimately led back to each other.
Some viewers knew their history and many were expecting them to live happily ever after.
Watching this movie and not knowing if Noah and Nick would get back together put viewers on the edge of their seats. At times, their relationship was deeply uncertain since many factors were keeping them apart.
The ending was very climactic with many unexpected turns. For example, Noah was pregnant with Nick’s baby, Nick got shot and their enemies from “Culpa Tuya” tried to steal their baby.
These dramatic scenes were slightly unrealistic; however, they were filmed well and still kept the audience engaged, as well as reminded the audience of the couple’s chemistry and history in the two previous movies.
Wallace and Guevara did an excellent job portraying four years of emotional distance; the awkwardness and tension between Noah and Nick was comical and their reunion showed the strength of their chemistry. The supporting characters, Jenna and Lion, made an unforgettable appearance in the beginning of the show by starting the movie with their luxurious wedding and hilarious acting. Noah and Nick’s wedding was harmonious.
The emotional weight that the young, broken-up couple felt in lieu of their wedding really showed how much they missed each other, even if they had not said as much with words yet.
The drama, tension and comedy combined made “Culpa Nuestra” a strong conclusion to the trilogy and left viewers satisfied and waiting on more series with Wallace and Guevara like “Postcards from Italy” coming in 2026, starring Wallace, or the upcoming TV series “Por Cien Millones” starring Guevara.
